I want to know if there is anyone out there that has had a baby with a diaphragmatic hernia that has survived surgery, thrived, and conquered. I am six months pregnant and am terrified at my baby girl's diagnosis, and I'm shutting everyone out and shutting down emotionally. I want to hear from someone who isn't going to pretend to relate to me. I find it offensive, honestly, primarily because I'm holding her and feeling her movements and every single thud and it's not going to affect others unless they know how it feels to possibly lose their child. I'm not giving up hope by any means, I am well-educated and scared. She's right there when I look down and I can't fix it or take it away and I don't know how to deal with this and the waiting game for my other reults. Please share your story with me. I need some help, please.
