Hi everyone! I am very new to this site and i just wanted to know if there had also been similar cases of what happened to my daughter 3 wks ago. Doctors said the cause of my daughter's demise at 32 weeks was due to hypercoiled cord. Her cord was twisted 5 times counter clockwise causing her to have problems with oxygen and nutrient intake. It wasn't wrapped around her but because of her movements it caused further constriction and that's why her heart beat stopped. My doctor said this was a tough case since coiling cannot be easily diagnosed and prevented. I had been researching on possible causes as well as preventing another incident since we plan to work on another baby a year from now. Me and my fiance is still in great sorrow up to this day and is slowly coping on the loss of our dearest Maissie. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks!
