I am seeking further information regarding Learning Disabilities from taking the medication to stop premature delivery. Research shows that cognitive, speech and learning disabilities have been linked to this drug. Now it has a black box warning on it not to utilize for premature labor.
Looking to talk to any mother who has similar concerns, issues. I was given the drug back in 1984 and my son is now 35 living with us and has severe LD. My concern is what will happen to him when I am gone. I must say I am fortunate that he does work fulltime and can drive a car. He reads at 1st grade level. If you saw him you would never imagine he had issues. Sadly, he wants to live on his own.
