I was told that my 23 weeker will have/does have Chronic Pulmonary Disease due to immature lungs and being born so early. Does anyone have any experience with this? I know some of this is irreversible because of some of the damage the ventilator did to her lungs but do they eventually mature. The Neonatologists mentioned the possibility of Asthma and being highly susceptible to infections. Any advice would be great! Thanks!
