Posterior urethral valves and kidney failure

Hi, My oldest had PUVs (posterior urethral valves) and was born with kidney failure and a damaged urinary tract. He survived against the odds and will be 21 this April! I hope it is ok to post a link, I created a email support group for parents/caregivers of babies with PUVs and other congenital urologic conditions (like prune belly syndrome, VATERS, renal dysplagia, etc) I really want to help others who are just starting out. So many of these babies are now diagnosed during pregnancy and many doctors don't offer much hope for them. My son was born before the internet was widely available and I felt so alone. I don't want ANYONE to feel that way.
